After completing the registration page, you must click the cart icon in the upper-right corner of the website to proceed to checkout and submit payment. Your registration is not complete until you have made your credit card payment. You should get an immediate confirmation of payment and registration from our website.
The checkout process often works better on a laptop or desktop computer rather than a phone.
If you previously completed the registration form but are unsure whether your registration and payment went through, please email Gabby at gabby@himweb.org and we will be happy to check for you.

The H.I.M. Marriage Retreat is offered as a complete weekend package, including two nights’ accommodations, meals, sessions, workshops, and conference materials.
Because both hotel and ballroom capacity are limited, we are not generally able to offer conference-only registrations without lodging. We encourage couples to register for the full retreat package so that the available conference space can be used as intended.
If you have a special circumstance that may require a different arrangement, please email Gabby at gabby@himweb.org to discuss your situation.
-

In order to provide couples with as few distractions as possible, nursing babies up to 3 months old may attend the general sessions. Slightly older babies may also attend if they are generally quiet and not yet very active.
We ask parents with babies to sit at the very back of the ballroom near an exit so they can easily step out if their baby begins making noise, including happy noises. We have received concerns about distractions in the past, so we appreciate your help in keeping the sessions as quiet as possible for everyone attending.
Babies may not attend the workshops or the sit-down dinner. During those times, some parents choose to switch off caring for the baby, or one parent may take a meal back to the hotel room. A sleeping baby is fine.
We hope this information is helpful as you decide whether attending the retreat will work well for your family.
-
The retreat concludes at approximately 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Please plan your travel accordingly so you can participate in the full retreat. -
Attire for the retreat is casual but nice. Comfortable clothing is appropriate for the sessions and workshops.
Some couples choose to dress up a little more for Saturday evening dinner, but this is completely optional. Formal attire is not required.
January in Newport can be quite cold, so please plan accordingly for any time you expect to spend outdoors.
-
You may want to bring a Bible and notebook for personal notes. H.I.M. will provide outlines for the main sessions as part of your conference materials.
The hotel also has a fitness center and indoor pool, so feel free to bring workout clothes or a swimsuit if you plan to use those amenities.
And since January in Newport can be quite cold, be sure to pack appropriate outerwear if you expect to spend time outside.
